Children will experience a variety of ‘desert island’ scenarios learning how to use their surroundings as resources for survival and to help them escape whilst putting their teamwork skills to the ultimate test.

The programme teaches children to make camp on a desert island by building shelters and raised bunks to sleep on. Children will learn how to build rafts, cook and even how to communicate through signalling.

Example activities: fire challenges, slacklining, archery, shelter building, and wilderness cooking.

Our aim is to develop: self-confidence, problem-solving skills, an appreciation of the natural environment, teamwork and leadership skills, and communication skills.
