Any form of bullying or poor behaviour is something that is taken very seriously on camp, in accordance with our behaviour policy.
At the beginning of each day, during the camp welcome, staff will explain the importance of good behaviour on camp and our expectations: be kind to one another, respect others, and treat others the way you would like to be treated yourself.
Staff will always encourage children to let them know should they feel unhappy about any aspect of camp, including if another child's behaviour is affecting their time/enjoyment.
Any behaviour issues will be discussed at the end of the day with parents whose children were involved. Depending on the situation, parents may be called during the day. An incident form should be completed and signed by the staff member and parents. We will always do our very best to solve issues before they become disruptive, therefore we do need parental involvement as soon as possible sometimes in order to rectify issues. Our main aim is to ensure all children have a happy and enjoyable camp experience!
